EQUIP-EMPOWER-ENGAGE
Our mission is to equip, empower, and engage individuals to help advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ and God’s work in Mexicali and around the world.
We Have Learned a Bunch Over the Years
We've learned things distinguishing us from many who go to Mexico alone. Matthew 5:16 is what we will share with you here. It says, “Let your light shine before men (others) so that they may see your good works and glorify your Father who is in heaven.” Our goal is to glorify the Father in heaven! We have mobilized church and school groups since 1970 for this very purpose. We are honest when we say we haven't always been focused, but we actively and humbly pursue this goal and commit to it.

We Go With Vision
+ We Want People Come Alive in Jesus (2 Cor. 8:6-15)
We willfully surrender what Christ asks of us so that others might come alive. We willfully give what Christ asks of us so that others might come alive. We willfully desire what Christ asks of us so that others might come alive. With eager willingness we complete what we start, according to our means. Christ accepts our willful gift giving. We willfully meet the needs of one another, so there is equality.
+ We Want our Faith to Take Action (James 2:14-17)
Our faith is alive in Christ and more that just words. It's tested by our response to the needs of those around us. Our faith is alive in action.
+ We Want to Encourage Others By Sharing Knowledge and News With Each Other (Col. 4:7-9)
We encourage others’ hearts in knowing their situation and sharing news. It's encouraging to tell about what you have seen and heard.
+ We Want to Honor and Obey Jesus Above All (John 12:1-8)
With the right heart we give honor to the Lord first and to others. We make intentional decisions to obey Jesus. Our purpose is clear, to care about what Christ cares about.
+ We Want to Free Others by Radiating the Holy Spirit in Us (2 Cor. 3:9-18)
Through The Holy Spirit we allow the Lord to remove the veil over us so our minds can see the truth about Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit radiates through us and allows the Lord to shine brighter through us for others. Through the Holy Spirit we allow the Lord to transform us and we are freed from all forms of bondage.
+ We Want to be Stewards of the Work Jesus Has Given Us (Matt. 20:1-16)
Christ Jesus actively looks to hire ALL of us. We respond to the command to Go by entering into agreement with Jesus. Jesus gives us our assignments and tells us where to work. Jesus is the owner and we are responsible to take care of what He gives us.
+ We Will Endure because Jesus has the Victory (1 Cor. 15:53-58)
We endure hardship knowing victory is in Christ Jesus over sin and death. We give thanks to Christ Jesus who overcomes for us. We let nothing stop us because Christ Jesus has given us the victory. Our work in Christ is not wasted because He has the victory already.
